Tailored Support
Z., Adult Service User
“HorseWorks has helped me learn to be less critical of myself and to approach situations more calmly. I’ve also learned how to set boundaries, which is helping me build healthier relationships. The relaxed and engaging environment made it easier to learn, and the experience has really helped build my confidence.”

workshops
Supporting wellbeing, resilience and positive life skills through working with horses
Our small-group sessions, with up to four participants, can be shaped around different needs and desired outcomes — from supporting mental health and wellbeing to developing specific skills such as social skills, communication, taking responsibility or assertivenss. Sessions combine hands-on activities with horses and time for reflection, helping participants make sense of their experiences and apply what they have learned.
Who is it for?
These workshops are designed for adults who are managing well in everyday life but would value time to pause, reflect and invest in themselves. They offer an opportunity to step away from everyday demands, practise self-care, explore personal development and learn something new in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
No previous experience with horses needed.
Non-Verbals toolbox workshop
Understanding what we say without saying a word
Our Non-Verbals Toolbox is an interactive workshop available online or in person, exploring human body language and how to recognise and interpret non-verbal signals more accurately. Participants learn practical strategies for responding to their own body language and that of others, helping to strengthen awareness, social skills and communication in everyday interactions.
